How to Get There: We started our journey on the Delhi-Bhopal Shatabdi Express, one of the most convenient trains to Gwalior. Departing from New Delhi Railway Station at 6:00 AM, this train offers a comfortable and quick journey to Gwalior, arriving around 9:30 AM.
Train is punctual. So be at the station on time. The train boards from platform 1 of the New Delhi Railway Station.
Expect a filling breakfast on board which includes tea, biscuits, bread and cereal with eggs or vegetable cutlet.

The palace has 5 floors and many narrow staircases to explore.
- Sas-Bahu Temples: These twin temples are dedicated to Lord Vishnu and lord Shiva and are adorned with elaborate carvings depicting various Hindu deities. This also has a Gwalior view point which provides a panorama of the entire city.
- Teli Ka Mandir: The tallest structure within the fort, Teli Ka Mandir is an architectural marvel that blends Dravidian and North Indian styles.
